Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA)
Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses (PESA) is published by HM Treasury, annually soon after the Budget. It is public spending by combinations of:
- government function (defined by the UN Classification Of the Functions Of Government (COFOG))
- government department
- area of the country
- time (estimates of future spending and reviews of past spending)

The Country and Regional Analyses (CRA) shows where spending from each government department has had effect. Each government department determines:
- which parts of the country have benefited from spending
- the programs are defined by COFOG functions and additional naming schemes

Supplementary Budget Information (SBI)
The Supplementary Budget Information (SBI) is spending for each government department by:
- time (includes past spending and 2 estimates based on spending that will occur within one year and spending that will occur within three years)
- functional categories specific for that departments role
