Basic Outline of Event for Potential Speakers

In terms of type of people who come we tend to have a fairly diverse background including scientists, geeks, academics and policy-makers but all sharing an interest in 'Open Knowledge'. Generally I'd suggest pitching the talk at the intelligent non-specialist. Talks are generally short (~15m).

Finally we should mention that unfortunately we cannot pay any expenses. We're a not-for-profit and we currently don't have any specific funding to pay for this event -- any charge that we do make is there to pay for the venue and equipment. I hope this is OK and we can certainly promise a responsive and varied audience and a great day.
