Working Group on the Open Definition and Open Licensing

Purpose

• Maintain and develop Open Data Commons including
  • Licenses themselves
  • Associated guides and metadata
• Contribute to maintenance and development of Open Definition project including:
  • Definitions themselves
  • Guides
  • List of conformant licenses

NB: Open Definition Advisory Council already exists to provide Advice and Direction on OD stuff. However working groups represents those actively doing things day to day. Any substantive change re. OD items (e.g. update of definition or decision on license conformance) would always be subject to OD AC approval.
