Which indicators would be present voters in our dashboard? Eurostat has a dashboard of 9 “headline indicators”, most of which are pretty good. The 20-20-20 indicators that we used in “Europe's Energy” are actually part of this set. I suggest to start off with these.
Unfortunately, the indicators are only given in annual frequency and with significant lags. Data seems to take a long time to get from national statistical institutes to Eurostat. Hence I would (continue to) try and find data in higher frequency on same indicators, for Germany to start with.
