Interests
- Using maps, timelines and visualisation technologies to help people understand the world around us - e.g. political institutions, international development, the environment, the economy, etc.
- How can we use digital technologies to aid research in the humanities? E.g. the relationships between texts and authors, text-mining technologies for scholarship (e.g. automated recognition of proper names), and so on.
- Promoting reuse of public domain works - from new editions of literary works, to radio shows/podcasts featuring obscure/interesting public domain recordings, to collages using public domain images.
